MedForce and Metro ink deal to team up
MedForce and Metro Aviation are two companies that are committed to patient care, safety and technology. It is shared values such as these that has led to the decision to provide joint services in eastern Iowa and Illinois.
MedForce recently took delivery of a new Airbus H135 and EC135, completed by Metro at its Shreveport, Louisiana facility.

MedForce Aeromedical Transport is the latest air medical service to join the Metro Aviation family. Founded in 2000, the Quad City helicopter emergency service provides aeromedical transport in and around eastern Iowa, west-central Illinois and portions of northeast Missouri. Metro Aviation will supply aviation services for the programme's two bases located in Colona, Illinois, and West Burlington, Iowa.

“We chose Metro Aviation as our aviation services provider because it is dedicated to safety, innovative and accessible,” says MedForce CEO Kevin Takacs. “We are excited about the future and look forward to a strong partnership with Metro.”

MedForce recently took delivery of a new Airbus H135 and EC135, completed by Metro at its Shreveport, Louisiana facility. A second H135 will be delivered in September 2020.

“MedForce is committed to patient care, safety and technology,” adds Metro COO Kenny Morrow. “We share those priorities and we are excited about this new partnership.”
