Jet West and Air 7 join World Fuel family
Located 30 minutes outside of the Monterey area, Jet West's Salinas location is an alternative for operators, pilots, schedulers and dispatchers looking for a quick and efficient turnaround.
Air 7's strategically located Camarillo facility serves Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica, Westlake Village, Los Angeles and the surrounding areas from KCMA.

Late last year, World Fuel Services began supplying Californian FBO Jet West at Salinas Municipal airport. This facility is a new addition to the World Fuel network, and it is expected that many customers will be drawn to this area for nearby Monterey or a quick turn before leaving the US west coast on the way to Hawaii.

Located 30 minutes outside of the Monterey area, Jet West's Salinas location is an alternative for operators, pilots, schedulers and dispatchers looking for a quick and efficient turnaround. Jet West customers can expect a wide range of ground transportation options, including limousines and town cars, as well as a conference room, showers and high-speed wireless internet connections. Jet West's pilot lounge includes a full-sized pool table, a smart TV, recliners and refreshments.

Jet West president Ryan Gauger says: “Our facility in Salinas is strategically located just outside of the Monterey region, which is known for its scenic area and proximity to Pebble Beach. We are an excellent alternative where customers can expect the best regional fuel price with a personal touch.”

Steve Drzymalla, senior VP for business aviation bulk fuel, World Fuel Services, adds: “Jet West's proximity to the west coast and commitment to world-class FBO customer service make it a valuable addition to the World Fuel network.”

As a member of the network, Jet West can now benefit from World Fuel advantages such as seamless payment processing with Total Aviation Software (TAS) and new payment flexibility with World Fuel Contract. All aircraft operators flying into Jet West can directly gain from World Fuel Contract. This feature provides access to competitive fuel pricing at more than 3,000 locations worldwide with personalised service and expertise from its global team.

Air 7, the Camarillo airport-based FBO and operator, has also joined the World Fuel network and will take advantage of World Fuel's new products and programmes at its facilities. Air 7's strategically located Camarillo facility serves Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica, Westlake Village, Los Angeles and the surrounding areas from KCMA.

COO Cherie Hecker says: “We have first-hand experience with World Fuel’s customer service and support. It is well-known that World Fuel has a recognised and wide-reaching network of fuel and related services. We have used World Fuel with our own aircraft fleet, domestically and internationally, and these positive experiences directly translated to our decision to align Air 7 with it. We know how it treated us, so we know how it will treat our customers here in Camarillo and throughout the world.”
