ARM repositions itself for humanitarian work
Being a business aviation operator in Central America is tough right now. While ARM Aviación would usually be visiting Tikal, Copan and the Bay islands in Honduras, it is resorting to humanitarian and courier flights.

Guatemalan turboprop operator ARM Aviacion has been performing courier flights in Central America in order to keep its hours up during the pandemic. Tikal, Copan and the Bay islands in Honduras tend to be regular spots for its tourism work. “We have recently been to Mexico City, San José and Costa Rica on humanitarian flights,” comments CEO Richard Callaway. “Tourism is down the drain, so now we are sustaining ourselves with courier and special humanitarian flights and fire fighting in our main jungles.”
