ExecuJet Australia marks decade as Embraer ASC
ExecuJet MRO Services Australia is certified to work on the Phenom 100 and 300, Legacy 450 and 500, Legacy 600, Legacy 650 and Praetor 500 and 600 aircraft. It has kept these types ship shape for 10 years.

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia has reached the 10th anniversary milestone of being an Embraer authorised service centre. The maintenance, repair and overhaul company, which became an Embraer ASC in 2010, serves Embraer operators throughout the Asia Pacific region.

“Congratulations to ExecuJet on this milestone,” says Marcio Moreira, head of customer services and support in Asia Pacific and China for Embraer Executive Jets. “Embraer has consistently been highly-ranked in the industry for its service and support standards, and we thank ExecuJet for its tireless efforts in keeping our customers' aircraft in good form.”

Australasia regional VP Grant Ingall adds: “ExecuJet is proud to be associated with Embraer and to reach this milestone. Being an authorised service centre means Embraer operators can be assured that the aircraft are serviced by the best qualified and factory-trained engineers in the industry with the manufacturers backing. As an Embraer authorised service centre, ExecuJet is also able to process Embraer Executive Care and warranty claims for spare parts and labour directly with Embraer, making the process seamless for our customers.

“Over the years quality and customer service have been at the core of our business, and we have increased our maintenance capability by investing in tooling and training on the Embraer range of business jets. Our experienced team now regularly performs the heaviest 12-year interval inspections and landing gear overhaul projects under a number of airworthiness authority approvals for the Legacy family."

ExecuJet is certified to work on the Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Legacy 450, Legacy 500, Legacy 600, Legacy 650 and Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 aircraft.

Some of the company's recent work on Embraer aircraft includes a 60-month scheduled inspection on a Legacy 500 performed at its Sydney facility. The Legacy 500 is a relatively new aircraft type ,and this was only the second time in the world that a 60-month inspection had been undertaken. The workscope required removal of the aircraft interior to gain access for structural inspections. The project went very smoothly and was delivered on time. ExecuJet's Sydney facility has maintained this Legacy 500 since new in 2015.

Earlier this year, ExecuJet's Melbourne facility, which is based at Essendon airport, completed a 48-month inspection on a Legacy 650 and a 48-month Inspection on a Phenom 300. The Sydney facility completed 144-month inspections and landing gear overhaul on two customer Legacy 600 aircraft. “All of these aircraft are from Asia-based operators and we have more work from Asia scheduled for later this year,” reveals Ingall, adding that Asia accounts for the vast majority of the company's heavy maintenance work on Embraer aircraft.
