Lam ready to bring comms skills to AsBAA table
AsBAA marketing man Anthony Lam knows the industry inside-out. As editor-in-chief of magazine JET Asia-Pacific he has covered Asian business aviation since 2011 and profiled dozens of industry entrepreneurs.
Anthony Lam's journalistic background will serve him well for his new AsBAA role.

AsBAA, Asia's representative body for the business and general aviation industry, has appointed Anthony Lam as director of marketing and external affairs. He will be taking over all responsibilities formerly handled by an external agency.

Chairman Zhendong Wu says: “AsBAA is very pleased to appoint Anthony as its first dedicated in-house marketing and external affairs executive. The position is instrumental to the long term viability and strength of the association and its ability to represent the industry in Asia. Anthony's dynamic marketing, external affairs and multi-cultural experience is very well-suited to help guide AsBAA forward. His proven expertise and passion will strategically complement our growing presence.”

Lam was the editor-in-chief of business aviation magazine JET Asia-Pacific, where he covered the Asian business aviation industry's development since 2011 and profiled dozens of business aviation entrepreneurs, leaders and business aircraft owners in Asia and around the world.

Previously based in the US and Shanghai and now in Hong Kong, Lam is an avid FAA-licensed fixed and rotary-wing pilot and was formerly a member of the National Transportation Safety Board's aviation accident investigative team, where he was awarded for outstanding service by the independent U.S. federal investigative agency.
