Alpes Aero of Annecy invests in Alsim
Excellence, thoroughness, safety and professionalism are priorities for Alpes Aero, based in Annecy in the heart of the Alps. It has decided that the responsive AL250 is the ideal device to meet its training requirements.

Alpes Aéro, an ATO based in Annecy, France, has chosen an Alsim AL250 training device. Pilot Valentin Goy explains the decision: “We were looking for a simulator capable of meeting the new IFR PBN training requirements. The high-performance AL250 responds perfectly and its high level of image texture associated with panoramic screens fully meets the study of VFR navigation too.”

Alsim sales director Audrey Jeffroy adds: “We are very proud to welcome Alpes Aéro amongst our customers. Before receiving the device, it will receive technical training that includes maintenance training, certification training and IOS training. The long term perspective makes all the difference; we don't only sell a device, we make sure our customers get the knowledge how to use and certify the device.”

The Alsim AL250 is a generic and compact simulator for single and multi engine piston (SEP/MEP reconfigurable) PPL, CPL and IR training. The device meets all current regulatory standards and responds to training requirements of smaller and mid-sized ATOs, flight schools and universities. With more than 60 devices installed worldwide, of which 16 are devices installed in France, the AL250 has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.
