JetLinx to bio-protect aircraft and facilities
JetLinx is to apply a rolling programme of quick kill antiviral product to its fleet of aircraft, its base terminals and facilities in the hope achieving long-term protection against Coronavirus.

Omaha-based managment and jet card membership company Jet Linx has begun applying the BioprotectUs system to disinfect and protect its fleet of 112 jet aircraft, private base terminals and facilities. The company claims to be the first and only operator to utilise the system from ViaClean Technologies, which encompasses an array of EPA registered and FDA compliant technologies that disinfect and inhibit the growth and spread of problematic bacteria, fungi, algae, mould and viruses as well as providing 90-day antimicrobial protection.

“We expect to complete the initial application of the BioprotectUs system by 20 March and we plan to reapply the system every ninety days, or sooner if warranted, in order to actively protect and inhibit the growth and spread of harmful germs,” says president and CEO Jamie Walker. “Jet Linx is confident that the actions it has taken as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will safeguard its clients, flight crews and ground personnel.”

The company also plans to install Bioprotect hand purifier dispensers in each of its 18 private base terminals and offer the hand purifier inflight.

When applied to porous and non-porous surfaces, Bioprotect creates a highly durable protective shield that eliminates and provides long-term eradication and suppression of germs and microorganisms. Additional testing will soon begin, under the auspices of the Global Virus Network, to confirm the efficacy of Bioprotect on COVID-19.
