Reno FBO agreement brings expansion to Stellar
Stellar Aviation is further expanding its FBO network following the award of a development agreement at Reno-Tahoe International airport. Its new facility will significantly increase FBO services and hangar space there.

Stellar Aviation Group has been awarded a 50 year lease and development agreement with the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) for construction of a full service FBO and hangar complex at the airport, its second Reno FBO. The project will be a phased development of over 40 acres.

President Jonathan Miller says: “This new location is another strategic cornerstone for our growing FBO network as we look to expand beyond the east coast and midwest by garnering an important foothold in the west. It is with great pleasure that Stellar accepts the opportunity granted by the RTAA to become a strategic ambassador to all Reno airport's discerning customers, existing users and future tenants, while introducing them to Stellar's unparalleled service standards and infrastructure development expertise. We intend to provide services and facilities to not only the myriad of users that call, or want to call, it their home base, but also the significant transient operators that require such services at this bustling airport.”

Reno-Tahoe International airport currently provides extensive and growing commercial service as well as military and cargo operations and hosts a robust and growing GA and corporate aircraft community. Vice president of airport economic development Tina Iftiger notes: “We are pleased to welcome Stellar Aviation to the Reno-Tahoe community as it will bring a wealth of operational experience and innovation to our airport. We are excited to have it as a partner to further grow and develop our general and corporate aviation sectors, especially as we begin a much needed redevelopment and infrastructure expansion project that will transform our service offerings and support for all of our users, from individual users to our business operators all of whom want to invest in the continued growth of our general aviation community.”
