Bottomley tops PrivateFly music and entertainment sector
PrivateFly anticipates growth in its music and entertainment business following the appointment of former Artist Charter founder Elliot Bottomley to head that sector.
Elliot Bottomley will be spearheading music and entertainment sector sales for PrivateFly.

UK-headquartered PrivateFly has appointed Elliot Bottomley as head of music and entertainment in Europe.

Following a music management background, Bottomley spent four years running Artist Charter, a niche charter broker serving these markets. His role at PrivateFly will involve spearheading the company's flight sales with sector-specific clients, including tour managers, agents and promoters.

The requirements of these types of clients include urgent 'go now' charters; complex and flexible multi-leg itineraries and tours; unusual luggage and equipment; and specific privacy and security demands.

Bottomley says: “I'm excited to be joining PrivateFly at a time of expansion. My understanding and experience of the music and entertainment sectors, combined with the benefits of being part of PrivateFly and Directional Aviation, give us a compelling offering to both existing and new clients. Arranging private charter in the music industry particularly, requires responsiveness and exceptional attention to detail. There's a huge amount of this at PrivateFly, so I'm really looking forward to our goal of becoming the 'go to' charter provider in this sector.”

PrivateFly CEO Adam Twidell adds: “The music and entertainment industries are key corporate sectors for on demand private jet charter and, as part of Directional Aviation, we are well-placed to offer them an industry-leading safety and service culture, plus exclusive aircraft offerings, enabled by our group's own fleet and increasing buying power. We'll be developing our service further in a number of ways this year, including a targeted sustainability offering.

“PrivateFly has already developed excellent client relationships in the music and entertainment sectors, but with Elliot now on the team, 2020 is set to see this become a key growth area for us.”
