Icelandic multi-role operator Eagle Air has signed a two-year maintenance support agreement with 328 Support Services (328), effective February.

Eagle Air has been operating one Dornier 328-100 turboprop since the beginning of summer 2018, mainly on scheduled passenger services within Iceland. The contract will support any base maintenance at 328's HQ near Munich and troubleshooting at Reykjavik.

“Operating around the clock on a variety of missions all over Iceland requires the security of a dependable and accessible maintenance provider,” says CEO Hörður Guðmundsson. “Over the past few years, we have established a strong relationship with 328 management and its fine engineers and technicians at Oberpfaffenhofen, and we are delighted to have them by our side.”

328 managing director Dave Jackson adds: “This new contract continues the strong relationship between both companies, and we are happy to be Eagle Air's service provider for the years to come.”
