Brazilian aircraft gain maintenance options in Illinois
In addition to maintenance, West Star also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its East Alton and Grand Junction facilities. Brazilian registered aircraft are now welcome at East Alton.

West Star has received ANAC Brazil authorisation to perform maintenance inspections and repairs on Brazilian registered aircraft at its East Alton, Illinois location.

“This certification extends our world-class aircraft MRO services to Brazilian aircraft operators at our ALN facility,” states Santiago Carol, regional sales manager for Latin America.

This authorisation is in addition to existing DGAC certification for Mexican registered aircraft. West Star Aviation specialises in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, surplus avionics sales, accessory services and parts.

Meanwhile, West Star Aviation's Perryville location in Missouri has been awarded its FAA repair station air agency certificate. The Part 145 certification allows Perryville to complete maintenance, repairs and additional services at the full-service facility.

“We are proud of the Perryville team for taking on and completing this task with such determination and enthusiasm,” says general manager Kyle French. “It is with great honour that we receive this certification and we take pride in offering the continued experience and quality workmanship that our customers expect.”
