Assent lines up jets for the highest bidder
Bidders must prove their financial status to gain access to a new series of business aircraft auctions. The first is in December, and Assent hopes to add to its line up of aircraft for sale.

Assent Aeronautics, an emerging brand of private aircraft brokerage and management, is to host the first in a series of live, private luxury aircraft auctions from 12-14 December. Dubbed the Assent Platinum Aviation Auction, the event will include a 2014 Challenger 605, a 2002 Falcon 2000, a 2007 Citation Mustang, a 1998 Citation Bravo, a 1990 Citation V, a 2018 Robinson R66 and a 1977 King Air 100A.

In addition to this initial catalogue, Assent has invited business aircraft owners to consign their aircraft for the December auction. “With the recent launch of our aircraft brokerage and advisory business unit, we are uniquely qualified to assess a plane's value and establish its eligibility for our auction,” says president W. Hulsey Smith.

Prospective consigners may submit an application via the company's website from 11-15 November. The company will evaluate piston, rotor-wing, turbine and turboprop aircraft for consignment.

“This auction is not your typical aircraft auction," continues Smith. “The Assent Platinum Aviation Auction seeks high value aircraft owners, aviation aficionados if you will, and bidders only qualified through our vetting process who will find the luxury experience they deserve associated with this type of sale.”

Bidders must register on the company's website and submit a bidder registration form accompanied by a bank Letter of Guarantee or a notarised Escrow Deposit Confirmation.

“The intent of Assent Platinum Aviation Auctions is de-mystify the aircraft acquisition experience for buyers, and create a live competitive marketplace for consigners. Simply put, we are putting serious buyers and sellers together with the intent to move airplanes,” Smith explains. “In addition to establishing a true luxury experience in this space, we are vetting buyers, securing commitments from serious sellers and will facilitate quick closings.”
