VistaJet adds further honours in Asia
VistaJet is looking forward to having a fleet of Global 7500 aircraft, as it believes the type will very much appeal to Asian clients. AsBAA has named the operator as the region's best for the fourth time in a row.
VistaJet has again been crowned best operator by AsBAA.

VistaJet has been crowned Asia's best operator for the fourth consecutive year at the Asian Business Aviation Association Icons of Aviation Awards. The honour celebrates excellence and recognises best practices in the private aviation industry across the continent, and comes following VistaJet's receipt at the 2018 ceremony of the inaugural award for Most Innovative Company.

VistaJet is celebrating its 15-year anniversary in 2019, having transformed from a start-up with two aircraft in Europe to a global aviation company with more than 70 long-range jets. The company experienced a 31 per cent increase in new Program members in 2018 and a 25 per cent rise in flights globally. Asia performed strongly, with a 26 per cent growth in flights, and the momentum continues with the launch of customer-centric programmes such as pet travel programme VistaPet and VistaJet World, a portfolio of exclusive global travel experiences. VistaJet's first fleet of Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft will enter service in January 2020.

The Global 7500's ultra-long-range flight capability and large cabin with four living spaces are suited to customers in Asia, where long-haul comfort is sought after. The jet can fly non-stop over popular ultra-long-haul routes such as Hong Kong to New York or Singapore to San Francisco, and can cut travel times by up to 21 per cent.

“It's a privilege to be crowned the best operator for the fourth time at the AsBAA Icons of Aviation Awards 2019. It is recognition of our team working earnestly 24-7 to ensure the seamless and safe operation of each flight to the highest standards possible,” says CCO Ian Moore. “We are very proud of what we have achieved in the past year and very excited about what is yet to come. The arrival of the Global 7500 in the VistaJet fleet, paralleled with our unrivalled cabin services, will be a game changer.”

AsBAA chairman Wu Zhendong adds: “Congratulations to VistaJet for winning this well-deserved award four years in a row. I would also like to express my heart-felt appreciation for its support over the years for our CSR programmes, including our signature event, the Icons of Aviation Awards charity gala dinner, and raising over US$160,000 in support of Orbis Flying Hospital, as well as AsBAA Discovery, the student chapter of the association that bridges the gap between the industry and the next generation. I wish VistaJet every success in the journey ahead.”
