Embraer to sell jets directly as Atlas goes indie
Atlas Air Service, a family-owned company celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, is to consult independently on the sale of business jets, after four years of successful Embraer representation.
Atlas is able to offer independent advice to would-be business jet owners.

Atlas Air Service in Bremen, Germany has become an independent consultant for the purchase, sale and brokerage of Embraer, Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft.

In the four years since 2015, Atlas has exclusively brokered new aircraft by Embraer, doubling market share for the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer in German-speaking countries.

“With immediate effect, new Embraer Executive Jets will only be sold directly by the manufacturer,” says sales director Hans Doll. “We are observing this trend towards direct sales with all American aircraft manufacturers. Through our partnership with Embraer Executive Jets and decades of sales and technical experience with Cessna Citation, we have now built up a unique competence in the market with which we can advise our aircraft purchasing customers.

Atlas CEO Nicolas von Mende adds: “Our new independence brings new opportunities because we can objectively advise our aircraft buyers on the purchase, sale and brokerage of aircraft from multiple manufacturers instead of just one manufacturer.”

Atlas remains an authorised service centre for Embraer Executive Jets, including 24/7 AOG service. “Thanks to decades of experience with Cessna Citation, King Air, Beechjet, Premier I and Nextant aircraft types, we also enjoy expert status here,” states chief technology officer Gregor Bremer. “Every year we invest several hundred thousand euros in the technical qualification of our employees in order to offer excellent customer service. With our subsidiary Augsburg Air Service we offer an additional service location in the south of Germany.”
