Textron consolidates parts supply across the US
Textron has expanded its square footage by nearly 50 per cent across its Orlando, Phoenix-Mesa and Teterboro parts locations. Keeping its customers in the air is a top priority.
Textron is doing everything in its power to deliver parts to customers as speedily as possible.

Textron Aviation has recently expanded its global part distribution capabilities across warehouses at three facility locations in the US, highlighting the company's continued investment in aftermarket and MRO support for all its Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker products.

The company grew its existing square footage by nearly 50 per cent across its Orlando, Phoenix-Mesa and Teterboro locations, making the total footprint for the three facilities over 8,000 sq ft. All three expansions in the US are complete and operational.

“When our customers need a part, we need to deliver and get them back in the air as fast as possible,” says senior VP of parts, programmes and flight operations Brad Thress. “Expanding our distribution network footprint around the world allows us to store more parts in high-volume traffic hubs, meaning we're always nearby and ready to support.”

The growth in the US follows the company's decision to place more parts in Europe and Asia Pacific earlier this year. The expansion of the European distribution centre in Düsseldorf, increasing available part numbers to nearly 35,000 items across Europe, is expected to launch operations by November. The company also recently opened a new facility in Australia, which will hold thousands of items from across the Textron Aviation product lines.
