ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Newly-launched membership-based aviation company Airspace aims to fill the gap between aircraft charter, jet cards and first-class commercial travel by allowing members to select and pay for individual seats on either a Gulfstream 650 or Global 6000 aircraft.
“People have lost their passion for travel due to airlines and security, which continue to cause enormous stress and make flying a hassle,” says CEO Robert Molsbergen.
Molsbergen served as COO of global aircraft at NetJets and was the president of its charter operator Executive Jet Management. He brings more than two decades of aerospace experience and goes on to say: “Our founders have first hand experience with private jet travel and have developed a new model that makes the experience of flying something to look forward to again.”
Airspace announced publicly its new membership programme with tiered pricing for seats on its private jets. There are a limited number of memberships, referral-only after the first 100 enrolments, and monthly fees currently start at $2,600. The company notes that its introductory membership category sold out during a pre-launch period.
Airspace will offer New York to and from Fort Lauderdale round-trip routes from December through May and will offer additional routes in 2020.
