ExecuJet opens Brisbane maintenance facility
A fourth line maintenance facility in Australia extends ExecuJet's reach in the northeast of the country. It has already dispatched mobile repair and AOG teams across Queensland.
Grant Ingall says the new Brisbane maintenance facility will enable ExecuJet to respond faster in the north east of Australia.

ExecuJet MRO Services has opened a line maintenance facility at Queensland's Brisbane airport. This is its fourth maintenance facility in Australia along with Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Vice president MRO services Australasia Grant Ingall says: “We are opening the new station to increase our reach in the northeast of Australia and broaden our line maintenance capabilities. Brisbane will allow us to meet demand for mobile repair party (MRP) and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, and we have already begun dispatching a rapid response team to places in Queensland where operators need support, such as Cairns and the Gold Coast. We are already supporting a Falcon 7X operator, based in Brisbane, with line maintenance.”

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia recently added 7X maintenance capability to its Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) certification in Australia, which means all of its maintenance facilities in the country are certified to do line maintenance on this aircraft type. As for heavy maintenance checks on 7X aircraft, Ingall says this work will be done at its facility at Sydney airport.

He adds: “The Falcon 7X is the first aircraft type we are supporting in Brisbane. We have invested in tooling and are looking to also support other business jet models and manufacturers in the near future.”

Dassault Aviation acquired ExecuJet MRO Services in January and since then the MRO company has been expanding its MRO capability on Dassault aircraft types. ExecuJet MRO Services Australia is also a Bombardier authorised service facility, Embraer authorised service centre and Gulfstream authorised warranty facility. The business also holds General Electric authorised service centre, Rolls Royce authorised service centre for BR725, BR710 Series, Honeywell avionics and mechanical authorised service centre and a Collins Aerospace dealership.
