Elevate Jet positions for group charter
With Scott LaForge now established as president, Elevate Jet prepares to take on new aircraft and launch an array of managed aircraft services. It has started with the acquisition of an ERJ.
Newly appointed Elevate Jet president Scott LaForge has taken delivery of a customised 30 seat ERJ.

Bedford, Massachusetts-based Elevate Jet has acquired a 30 passenger Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ), a versatile turbojet with a four hour range, state-of-the-art avionics, large windows and generous luggage capacity.

“For a regional aircraft, this ERJ is bright, spacious and super comfortable,” says president Scott LaForge. “The interior has been completely customised by Embraer. It is designed for 37 seats, and this ERJ has a 30 passenger executive interior so it has lots of legroom and excellent seat pitch. The seats are so new, they're still wrapped in plastic.”

He continues: “This is the ideal air transportation solution for groups too large for a typical large cabin executive jet, and too savvy to incur the expense of a Boeing 737.”

Elevate Jet's offerings include management and consultancy services such as Part 91 and Part 135 aircraft management, private charter, aircraft acquisition and valuations. It owns Embraer aircraft for VIP shuttle services, and this aircraft represents the next step forward in a comprehensive acquisition strategy to grow the fleet and expand a suite of progressive services offered to aircraft owners and flyers.

LaForge joined Elevate Jet in June 2019 and has expertise in aircraft management, safety, operations and fiscal disciplines. As a licensed pilot, he has accumulated more than 20,000 safe flying hours and he has been recognised as a Prestigious Aviator by the FAA. Previously he held leadership roles with Keystone Aviation, XOJet, M&N Aviation, Island Airlines and Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines.

“I am very excited about the breadth of services offered by Elevate Jet. My devotion to high-touch, VIP service began when I was a 19 year old pilot flying clients such as John and Caroline Kennedy, Jackie O, Ted Kennedy, Marlo Thomas, Frank Purdue and others,” he adds. “I have a 'one plus four' approach to success - safety is paramount, always, and the four elements supporting Elevate Jet's incident-free safety record and solid business model are people with decades of expertise in the aviation industry; superior customer service; unwavering pursuit of sustainability; and continuous profitability. With those elements firmly in place, Elevate Jet is well-positioned to expand its service offerings and its fleet.”
