ExecuJet granted Far East capabilities
CAAC approval for ExecuJet Malaysia on Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft reinforces the company's credentials as a centre for MRO, and ExecuJet Haite has extended its EASA maintenance capability to Beijing.
China's civil aviation regulator has granted ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia approval to work on Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to provide line and heavy maintenance on Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. The approval covers Gulfstream GIV and variants of the Bombardier Challenger and Bombardier Global Express series aircraft.

Dassault Aviation purchased ExecuJet's global MRO network earlier this year. The network includes operations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East as well as the Asia Pacific region, and the 64,000 sq ft Subang facility is the largest business aviation MRO in Malaysia. It supports aircraft from a number of different manufacturers, based both within and outside the region, and is in the process of adding Falcons to its list of supported models. ExecuJet Malaysia is certified by the FAA, EASA, the CAA of Malaysia and many others, and is approved to work on both Malaysian and foreign registered aircraft.

Vice president ExecuJet MRO Services Asia Ivan Lim says: “This approval by CAAC is significant, because it means ExecuJet's maintenance facility at Subang airport, near Kuala Lumpur, is permitted to do heavy and line maintenance on these aircraft registered in China. Having access to China's business aviation market, which is the biggest in the region, opens up new opportunities for ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to continue to grow and expand its business.

“ExecuJet applied for the approvals from CAAC in response to demand from operators in China, and this further reinforces Malaysia's position in the market as a leading centre for business aviation MRO in the region.”

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is a full-service, business jet maintenance facility. It is an authorised service facility for Bombardier and a limited authorised warranty facility for Gulfstream. It also represents some other major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as authorised service centre or dealer such as: General Electric and Rolls-Royce, on multiple engine types; Honeywell on engines, auxiliary power units and avionics; and Collins Aerospace on avionics.

Elsewhere in the network, ExecuJet Haite has expanded its EASA maintenance capabilities to include Beijing Capital International airport, further enhancing its service offerings for EASA registered Dassault Falcon 7X/8X and Bombardier Global operators. The Beijing line maintenance station will provide a variety of services, including AOG troubleshooting and defect rectification, minor repairs, component replacement, as well as weekly and monthly check services. This new extenstion and approval specifically covers EASA registered aircraft and adds to an already well established service that supports CAAC, FAA and other prominent NAA registered aircraft operating there.

“We are delighted that our EASA line station extension at Beijing Capital airport is now operational, as this enables ExecuJet Haite to offer industry leading AOG and line maintenance support in Beijing and aligns our services to the demands of our valued customers,” says general manager Paul Desgrosseilliers.

ExecuJet Haite holds CAAC, EASA, FAA, Cayman, Bermuda, Aruba, Hong Kong and Macau approvals and offers line and base maintenance support on multiple Embraer, Dassault, Bombardier, and Gulfstream models, as well as line support for the Boeing business jet.
