Van der Blom aims to build Nomad management roster
Paul van der Blom has an illustrious CV that includes past roles at DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, Hawker Pacific, Avolus, TAG, ExecuJet, Airbus Toulouse and Airbus Corporate Jets, making him an asset for Nomad Aviation.

Nomad Aviation has appointed Paul van der Blom as VP of aircraft management sales. He will be in charge of business development and sales and is part of the company’s management team.

Van der Blom has more than 20 years of aviation experience. Before joining Nomad Aviation, he was with DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, Dubai, where he was director commercial, developing the aircraft management fleet and playing an instrumental role in establishing the company as a full-fledged business aviation services provider. Prior to that, van der Blom held various executive positions in aircraft management sales, aircraft sales and brokerage, FBO and maintenance business development with Hawker Pacific in Singapore, ExecuJet in Dubai, Avolus Dubai and TAG Aviation in Geneva, Switzerland. He worked for Airbus Toulouse, France, as director aircraft sales, for both airliners and Airbus Corporate Jets.

“As Paul already worked in the business aviation industry in various sales, business development and executive functions he is a highly appreciated hands-on professional to strengthen our organisation,” says Nomad CEO Thomas Koehli. “With the appointment of Paul we’re able to further bolster sales and continue on the Nomad Aviation growth strategy.”

Nomad Aviation, based in Switzerland, offers aircraft management, charter, maintenance and hangarage services. It operates an exclusive fleet of aircraft, ranging from light to ultra-long-range jets and VVIP airliners, including Cessna CJ1+ and CJ2+, Embraer Legacy 650, Bombardier Challenger 604, CRJ100, Global 5000 and Gulfstream G450 as well as Airbus ACJ319. Nomad Aviation has offices in Zurich-Kloten and Basel, Switzerland as well as in Sliema, Malta.
