Security advisory service launched by Jet Ways
For those undertaking missions into potentially dangerous areas, Jet Ways is offering individual risk analysis and recommendations. Who better to prepare such advice than ex-Israeli intelligence analysts?
Risk analysis is bread and butter for Jet Ways.

Tel Aviv-based charter broker and business aviation consultancy company Jet Ways Aviation has launched a new service for operators performing ad hoc or routine special flights to destinations with higher than normal risk. The service will enable them to meet crew and aircraft security requirements, as well as insurance companies' demands, and is targeted at issues affecting aviation and crew security.

Jet Ways is offering a one-time and updated intelligence report for sensitive destinations, based on human-generated analysis and compiled from local sources, social media, communication media and other covert sources.

There are three levels of service. The first is a one time report that includes airspace safety and security, country and airport security, with a briefing on terrorism, political unrest, public order and crime situations for the previous three months, with recommendations on whether to park the aircraft locally or move to another more secure airport. It also recommends whether or not to hire a local security firm to secure the aircraft and, where applicable, which company that should be. It also offers emergency services contacts, US and other embassy contacts as well as predicted cellular coverage for 2G, 3G and 4G.

The second level includes level 1 plus real-time push alerts to crews, recommended routes to and from the airport, recommended hotels and places to avoid.

The third level incorporates level 2 plus coverage and tracking by Jet Way's 24/7/365 ops centres, located in Israel and the US, to support the crew, who will be given access to an emergency alarm via a mobile app that will trigger the ops centres to call emergency services and direct them to the crew location.

The service is offered on a one-time need basis, with no need for any subscription or monthly fee. Its biggest advantage, Jet Ways says, is that the report and analysis are made by human analysts, all of whom are ex-Israeli intelligence personnel.
