EASA approves Fusion retrofit for the CJ3
For some time, Pro Line Fusion has been available in the US on new production aircraft. EASA certification now enables Collins Aerospace to meet retrofit demand for Europe-based CJ3s.
Collins Aerospace delivers new capabilities to CJ3 owners in Europe with EASA approval of Pro Line Fusion retrofit offering.

Cessna Citation CJ3s registered in Europe can now have the advanced capabilities of Collins Aerospace Systems' Pro Line Fusion avionics, which was recently certified by EASA. This offering has already seen great success in the United States with approximately 32 aircraft with the upgrade already in service.

Pro Line Fusion significantly improves the pilots interface with the flight deck by replacing the factory-installed Pro Line 21 LCD displays with three 14.1-inch touchscreen LCD displays with configurable windows. Other features designed to improve situational awareness and reduce pilot workload for CJ3 aircraft owners include synthetic vision as standard; geo-referenced electronic navigation charts that display own-ship aircraft position as standard; and a fully loaded package of baseline equipment for operation in modernising global airspace beyond ADS-B mandate compliance, offering SBAS-capable GNSS, localiser performance with vertical guidance (LPV) approaches, radius-to-fix (RF) legs and more.

“We continue to see aftermarket demand for the features and capabilities of Pro Line Fusion,” says vice president and general manager, business and regional avionics Christophe Blanc. “Operators clearly see the value of Pro Line Fusion on new production aircraft in the US and we are pleased to make the same solution now available to European CJ3 owners.”

Installations can be arranged by contacting a Collins Aerospace sales representative and or qualified dealer.
