Helipool dives in with rangey H120
In the business since 2005, Helipool's mission is to source the best quality helicopters for its clients. Recent arrivals into its hangar include a 2010-build H120, an EC120 and an AS 355N with 2,670 hours.
The H120 is well-suited to mountain missions.

Helicopter trading organisation Helipool has invested in a 2010-build H120 with 730 hours since new. “The H120 is a perfect midsize helicopter for private owners and corporate clients,” says owner Daniel Hofer. “It has good range and clients are travelling in style. The type is very popular with our pilots too.”

In the business since 2005, Helipool says its mission is to source the best quality helicopters for its clients. Another recent acquisition in its hangar is HB-ZMJ, an EC120 which will soon undergo its first 12-year inspection with RUAG. The machine will be ready for delivery by mid June 2019. “Also under a 12-year inspection is our AS 355N with 2,670 hours,” continues Hofer. This machine will be ready for delivery in August or September and will arrive like new with a VIP Interior and a "cool" paint job.

Last month the company delivered its 90th helicopter to a client. Owned and managed by Hofer, Helipool is a former helicopter operator in the Swiss Alps that carried out utility, tourism and rescue flights. It is now solely a trading company, and sometimes leases helicopters to Swiss operators: in recent times it has arranged a AS350 B3+ and an EC130 for Air Glaciers, and an EC120 for Alpinlift.
