Gulfstream's design team has been shortlisted for two International Yacht & Aviation Awards. The G650ER interior has been shortlisted for the Private Jet Design award, while the clean-sheet G500 was shortlisted for the Private Jet Design Concept award.

Gulfstream earned The International Yacht & Aviation Awards for Private Jet Design in 2018 and 2017 for the G600 and flagship G650ER. The ergonomic in-house designed seats on the G500 and G600 also earned an International Yacht & Aviation Award in the Product category in 2018.

The G650ER interior Serenity and Style featured in this year’s Private Jet Design category reflects Gulfstream’s more than 60-year heritage of marrying design with technology. The concept bridges the aircraft’s performance capabilities and cabin environment with carefully curated aesthetics through a play of textures and finishes. Combined with 100 per cent fresh air, low cabin altitude and Gulfstream’s panoramic windows, the G650ER intends to foster serenity and wellness.

For the Private Jet Design Concept category, Gulfstream envisioned an interior design reflective of the technologically advanced and high-performing G500. The Velocity concept translates the speed of life on the ground to the near-supersonic Gulfstream speed in the skies. Through an aesthetic inspired by high-concept racing, the Velocity G500 offers an interior and exterior expression of Gulfstream performance capabilities.

Winners are selected by popular vote, and ballots can be cast from 24 April until 22 May.
