Point of sale software rebranded by Essinta Labs
Essinta Labs says CSRs and line staff will find FBO Director easy, fast and efficient. The change of name hints at its new priorities: fuel management, accounting, fuel card payments and work order.

Florida-based Essinta Labs has rebranded its core FBO management and point of sale software, formerly known as EssintaWings, as FBO Director. Since its release in February 2017, over sixty thousand transactions have been run, worth over $35 million.

“FBO Director more properly reflects our passion and commitment to the general aviation industry, as well as paying homage to our experience and expertise in this market,” says president John Nelson.

Since 1996, Nelson has been building products for the aviation industry that include the FBO Manager software programme he founded and hand-held fueling solutions for airlines and FBOs. “More than two decades of first-hand knowledge has given my team the foundation to build FBO Director and Fuel Meter Cloud. I have always been passionate about automating processes at the FBO to simplify the front counter and back office operations. FBO DIrector and Fuel Meter Cloud will help FBOs of all sizes increase efficiency,” he adds.

FBO Director is a web-based application for FBOs and aviation businesses. The interface is based on workflows and processes from real FBOs. It has easy invoice and payment acceptance, proper tax and discount application, fuel and inventory management and powerful automation and integration with other commonly used core FBO products.

“No other software company in this space has a comparable track record for delivering easy to use, efficient and automated general aviation software,” he concludes.
