Republic one of a handful to reach Everest summit
By demonstrating safe ops, excellent service, modern facilities and an emphasis on customer satisfaction, Long Island's Republic Jet Center has been honoured by Everest Fuel as a preferred supplier.

Republic Jet Center in Farmingdale, New York, has been recognised with the Everest Fuel Preferred Award. The award honours high-performing FBOs throughout the US that demonstrate a commitment to safe operations, excellent service, modernised facilities and who take a long-term approach to relationships. Republic is among the first five FBOs to receive this recognition.

“We are thrilled to be one of the FBOs to be honoured with the Everest Fuel Preferred Award for our exceptional services and the quality of amenities we give to our valued customers on a day-to-day basis,” says president Jeremy Epperson.

“We thank Everest Fuel for recognising our efforts to provide our customers with the highest level of convenience and service. We understand that this honour is awarded very selectively, and we want to acknowledge the value that it bestows on us.”

To be selected as an Everest Fuel Preferred Award recipient, Republic Jet Center was assessed across a variety of selection criteria to determine that the FBO exceeded Everest's standards for facilities, amenities and procedures. This included an on-site evaluation audit of the facility, a safety inspection to ensure that the FBO adheres to ATA 103 fuel quality control procedures and that it follows nationally recognised standards for training line service personnel, checks to ensure the FBO has demonstrated outstanding commitment to service to Everest Fuel customers and that the FBO has maintained a long-term relationship with Everest and provides Everest customers with exceptional value.

“The award was created to honour exceptional facilities,” says senior manager of fuel and services at Everest Paul Giovanetti. “Republic Jet Center embodies our philosophy and selection criteria of safety, service, facilities and relationship.”

Republic's services include an on-site Part 145 repair station, a NATA Safety 1st certified line crew, hangar and ramp parking, and de-icing. In addition, the facility features a 100,000 gallon fuel farm that has a generator back-up and offers a low retail price for Jet-A and Avgas at Farmingdale Republic airport.

The FBO provides planeside vehicle access, an executive lounge and conference room with wi-fi access and satellite television, full concierge services with luxury car and limousine transportation access, a pilot lounge and the option for a VIP helicopter transfer to Manhattan.
