Reignwood Star approved for Bell 505 maintenance
Following the placement of a large order for 505 helicopters, all destined for the Chinese market, Reignwood Star has been awarded authorised maintenance centre status by Bell at its Beijing facility.

Beijing Miyun airport-based Reignwood Star General Aviation has been appointed as a Bell authorised maintenance centre (AMC) for the Bell 505, the first such AMC in China. This follows initial delivery mid 2018 of three Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters from an order for 110 units from the 505 launch operator and exclusive China-authorised reseller.

“We are committed to the safety of helicopter operations in China and are building capability to bring training, award-winning services, maintenance repair and overhaul solutions locally,” says Bell global services director Michael Reagan. “We will continue to share our know-how in China to better service our growing customer base.”

Reignwood operates the largest Bell helicopter fleet in China, comprising of five 505s, eleven 407s, five 429s and three 206s.
