Weststar’s Malaysian missions to benefit from leased Leonardos
Weststar's relationship with Lease Corporation International dates back to 2013, when LCI delivered two AW139s to the offshore operator. Now another 139 and an AW189 are on their way to work in Malaysia.
LCI is providing offshore operator Weststar with further Leonardo helicopters.

Offshore helicopter operator Weststar has taken delivery of an AW139 and an AW189 from Lease Corporation International (LCI) to support its missions in Kerteh and Miri in Malaysia. The company already has one AW189 in its fleet, which was also leased from LCI.

LCI has partnered with Weststar since June 2013, when it delivered the first two AW139s for Weststar's international operations.

Weststar CEO General Tan Sri Muhammad Ismail Jamaluddin says: “We were pleased to commence our first helicopter lease with LCI in 2013 and, since then, we have taken delivery of additional helicopters that demonstrate LCI's continued support and commitment to meeting its customer's needs.”

LCI global head of marketing Nigel Leishman adds: “Weststar is a longstanding and highly valued partner, and we are delighted to be supporting its regional Asian operations with the delivery of these additional, state-of-the-art Leonardo helicopters.”
