Gulfstream expands senior manufacturing team
In order to future-proof its operations, and to fill the gap left by its long serving senior vice president of programmes on his retirement, Gulfstream Aerospace is making changes at the top.

Gulfstream Aerospace has expanded its senior leadership team to meet the company's growing number of aircraft programmes, manage its worldwide supply chain and innovate for the future. The new appointments are former vice president of flight operations Colin Miller and former vice president, initial and final phase manufacturing Greg Collett.

Miller will be promoted to senior vice president, innovation, engineering and flight, following the retirement of Dan Nale at the beginning of April after nearly 35 years with the company.

Miller joined Gulfstream in 2013 as an experimental test pilot. Since then he has been a part of the development, testing and certification programmes for the G500 and G600. He also participated in the development of advanced Gulfstream aircraft technologies.

Collett has been promoted to senior vice president, manufacturing and completions, assuming some of the responsibilities previously held by SVP operations Dennis Stuligross.

Collett joined Gulfstream in 1998 and has held various leadership roles in operations, including oversight of initial phase manufacturing, final phase manufacturing, new product development and manufacturing operations.

Stuligross now serves as the senior vice president of programme management, quality and supply chain. As such, he is responsible for aircraft programme management, product quality and the worldwide supply chain while ensuring programme alignment throughout the organisation.

“Gulfstream has experienced significant growth over the past decade,” says president Mark Burns. “To address this growth as well as the changing landscape of our industry, we established an organisation that integrates innovation, programme management, quality and supply chain management to create consistency across aircraft programmes and allow us to more easily foster efficient and disciplined operations.”
