Avflight on to a winner at Winnipeg
Avflight views Winnipeg as an important gateway to commerce, and this is the first Canadian location to join its network. It hopes to open up numerous business opportunities in the country for its global customers.
The Winnipeg centre at James Armstrong Richardson International is the first Avflight facility in Canada.

Avflight Corporation has expanded its FBO network by acquiring Kelly Western Jet Centre at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International airport at the end of last month. This marks the company’s first venture into Canada and brings the chain’s total to 21 full-service FBOs across North America and Europe.

“Winnipeg is a key location for the Avflight network,” says VP of finance Garrett Hain. “This acquisition will help connect Avflight customers to business in Winnipeg and serve as the network’s gateway to Canada.”

As a full-service FBO, Avflight Winnipeg offers customs, 24-hour service, jet fuel and Avgas, de-icing, courtesy cars and charter handling. Avflight will operate out of the existing FBO building, which includes a hangar that can accommodate any size of business aircraft, 12,000 sq ft of office space, a conference room, pilot lounge and passenger lobby.

Avflight Corporation operates at strategically-located airports in North America and Europe, specialising in corporate, commercial and military traffic and services. As part of the Avfuel Network, it offers a full array of Avfuel products and services such as Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP rewards.
