Aerion promotes Berroth to oversee AS2 programme
Aerion's vision to bring supersonic flight to business aviation is edging closer, and to bring the project to fruition will require an experienced team. Skilled engineer Steve Berroth is an integral part of that team.

Supersonic flight company Aerion has promoted Steve Berroth to the role of COO and programme manager of the AS2 supersonic business jet. Berroth brings with him leadership skills and 35 years of experience in large aerospace organisations and aircraft development programmes.

Before joining Aerion in 2018, Berroth worked at Northrop Grumman for 31 years in various leadership positions, including director of production operations, programme manager for numerous advanced aircraft and rotorcraft, and led flight test operations prior to his programme manager responsibilities. He also served Triumph Aerospace Structures as VP of metallic and composite components programmes and operations. In that role, he led six site presidents with more than 3,000 employees in operating companies around the globe.

He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
