Californian operator Silver Air has hired Colleen McCauley to serve in a newly-created VP of client services role. McCauley will lead Silver Air's existing private jet management services, while supporting continued growth by developing creative new management programmes.

“Silver Air is building a world-class team that provides industry-leading service and Colleen's experience, professionalism and commitment to excellence is a perfect match,” says CEO Jason Middleton. “In her new position, Colleen will help take our business to the next level through strategic, managed growth while maintaining the absolute best support for our jet owner partners.”

McCauley is a private aviation industry veteran with more than two decades in charter sales, management and operations as both an employee and self-starter in the industry. She has led successful sales teams and has a proven track record, expanding a fleet of 25 jets to 150 in just a few years. She will split her time between the San Francisco Bay area and Silver Air's executive offices in Santa Barbara.

“This is an exciting time to join the Silver Air team, which is absolutely dedicated to providing the best service in the private jet industry to our jet owner partners and charter clients,” she comments. “The company's dynamic business model and talented team are changing the way jet owners are valued and how jets are managed. I look forward to being a part of that change and helping our company to grow.”

Silver Air manages and operates privately owned aircraft from bases throughout the US, and it is one of the only operators to offer unrestricted charter availability on a BBJ. Its fleet features light to large cabin jets from Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier, Embraer, Cessna and Hawker/Beech. The company is ARGUS Platinum rated, IS-BAO Stage II compliant and a member of the Air Charter Safety Foundation.
