Abilene Aero and Lubbock Aero awarded IS-BAH registration
To their guiding principles of not compromising on quality, honesty or integrity, Abilene and Lubbock have added the industry standard of safety. Both full service FBOs are well established in the Texas region.

Texas FBOs Abilene Aero and Lubbock Aero have completed IS-BAH registration.

Abilene Aero is in its 50th year of business, and has been continuously operating at Abilene Regional airport since 1968. Lubbock Aero has been operating at Lubbock/Preston Smith airport since 1990. Both companies are full service FBOs offering fuelling, aircraft sales, charter, maintenance, avionics installation and parts.

“At Abilene Aero and Lubbock Aero our goal is to ensure the best possible customer experience with a focus on providing a safe operating environment,” says president Joe Crawford. “The level of standards we've established through the IS-BAH registration programme helps us build a framework for a strong internal safety culture for all our customers, vendors and employees.”

IS-BAH was established through the efforts of the International Business Aviation Council and the National Air Transportation Association as a global code to identify and promote the use of industry best practices by means of a progressive safety management system for both FBOs and other business aircraft handling agencies. It follows the format and structure of the IS-BAO programme and incorporates many of the guidelines of the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Standard and elements of NATA's Safety 1st programme.
