Greenpoint delivers second VVIP 787-8 interior completion
A high altitude gym is just one of the hotel-in-the-sky elements of Greenpoint's latest executive cabin completion that forms part of a VVIP 787-8 interior redesign.
The main lounge showcases a metallic glass tile wall, which is the first of its kind to be certified on a Boeing 787.

Washington-based business jet completions company Greenpoint Technologies has delivered the world's second VVIP 787-8 interior completion to a confidential customer. The company partnered with the client to create a sophisticated executive cabin. The interior caters to various passenger needs, with an open living space and distinct, private rooms. The grand master suite includes its own lounge and office featuring refined material finishes including Calacatta Borghini marble, book-matched American walnut and boucle hand-tufted carpet. The main lounge showcases a metallic glass tile wall that is the first of its kind to be certified on a 787 and embossed hand-tipped leather seats. The interior also includes a gym with vaulted ceilings, extensive crew accommodations and large service galleys.

Design director Annika Wicklund says: “Greenpoint's goal was to provide our client with a modern, inviting interior that showcases best-in-class services on board. The interior offers functionality and adaptability while integrating the latest technology and luxuries experienced at the finest hotel. All of us at Greenpoint are grateful for the opportunity to partner with our client and we are honoured to redeliver this beautiful Boeing 787 completion.”

Greenpoint executive vice president Bret Neely adds: “Delivering this second V-VIP 787 is a monumental achievement for Greenpoint. Teamwork and dedication led to the delivery of this beautiful interior, and ultimately to mastering the 787-8 completion process and its advanced technology. This expertise is already flowing to our third and fourth 787 completions.”
