Tacoma Narrows widens scope with FBO upgrade
Tacoma had already completed phase one of its renovation project, and phase two has led to improvements for visiting passengers and crew, including a flight planning room, refreshments and office space.
Tacoma Narrows Aviation's new terminal includes a hospitality area, flight planning room, refreshment bar, pilot lounge and conference room.

Tacoma Narrows Aviation in Puget Sound, Washington, has completed its executive terminal facility, the FBO’s corporate air centre at Tacoma Narrows airport.

The centre includes 30,000 sq ft of heated hangar space, 2,500 sq ft of passenger and crew amenities and 5,500 sq ft of office space. Amenities include a hospitality area, flight planning room, refreshment bar, pilot lounge and a conference room.

“The facility is a wonderful upgrade,” comments Tacoma Narrows Aviation owner George Swift. “It enhances the premium customer service that makes Tacoma Narrows Aviation a premier choice for the aviation community. We are proud to be the gateway to South Puget Sound and we are now a more attractive option for tenants and transient customers.”

The latest centre was part of development phase two for Tacoma Narrows. In the spring of 2017, the FBO completed renovations on a hangar from the 1960s. It now features new exterior and interior siding, lighting, windows, electrics, insulation and a fire suppression system, and has space available for long-term and short-term leasing.

As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Tacoma offers guests competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel and robust rewards with AVTRIP. The FBO is situated 30 miles south of Seattle and operates daily from 0600 to 1800.
