ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, is celebrating the successful renewal of its International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage III and Wyvern Wingman audits.

The company's South African AOC was awarded IS-BAO Stage III accreditation in 2015 and is the first ExecuJet AOC to receive a renewal audit, undertaken every three years. The operator's other IS-BAO Stage III accredited AOCs are its Asia-Pacific, Europe and Middle East operations.

The renewal audits were based on ExecuJet's SMS, security, training, flight operations, ERP, OHSE and quality.

VP for Africa Gavin Kiggen comments: “Renewing IS-BAO Stage III and Wyvern Wingman is very significant and the renewals are testament to our safety management culture here in South Africa. The team has put in place a strong and sustainable system to ensure our impeccable standards of safety and service are maintained in every situation. We hope the efforts of the team will act as a model for others in the industry aiming to achieve the accreditation.”

IS-BAO is a joint programme between IBAC and its member associations and was designed to help business aircraft operators worldwide achieve high levels of safety standards and professionalism.
