Safran launches APU maintenance service
Operators should get peace of mind from Safran's latest service and maintenance plans for APUs. There are two levels of care available.
Safran PowerCare covers scheduled and unscheduled auxiliary power unit and component maintenance, including parts and labour.

Safran Power Units has released Safran PowerCare, a new and dedicated business jet maintenance service offering for its auxiliary power unit (APU) family. The first customer for the range of efficient and cost-effective plans is Bombardier's Global 7500.

PowerCare provides predictable maintenance budget forecasting, ensures maximum availability of the aircraft and increases aircraft resale value. Operators are covered by scheduled and unscheduled auxiliary power unit and component maintenance, including parts and labour. It also includes service bulletins, access to technical publications as well as priority lease availability and discounts. PowerCare Premium offers enhanced services such as transportation, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) coverage and an OEM Certification Package upon resale of the aircraft.

Safran Power Units' vice president, commercial and customer support Laurent Le Foll explains: "This innovative package of services will provide added value to Safran Power Units' customers, as PowerCare is the most comprehensive business jet auxiliary power unit coverage in this market. Through this full-service maintenance protection plan, the company confirms its determination to offer the highest level of support in this business."
