TBM910 helps Polish juice entrepreneur to expand
Building production facilities around Europe requires a good deal of travel, and one Polish chief executive and aerobatic pilot has been making good use of a new TBM turboprop.

Polish fruit juice and soft drink maker Sokpol knows a thing or two about efficient transport, even linking one factory to its storage facility by an electric monorail system. When it comes to expansion of facilities around Europe the preferred transport method has been a TBM910, flown by chief executive Roman Sobczyk since its delivery in December last year.

The turboprop has already passed 100 flight hours and has recently undergone a 100-hour standard inspection at Daher's TBM service centre.

Established in 1992, Sokpol has experienced consistent growth while exporting products to 19 countries, requiring the construction of new juice production plants and constant travel across Europe. A passionate pilot, Sobczyk is also an aerobatic pilot, owning a Zlin aircraft.

With his TBM910 acquisition, Sobczyk has been able to combine his love for flying and his business travel needs. "I selected the TBM910 very fast turboprop because it meets my criteria as a transportation tool in terms of cost of operation versus performance, and it is also a very reliable aircraft to fly,” he explains. “Operating it since January, I can confirm the TBM910 exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of service, allowing me to fly more in total confidence."

Nicolas Chabbert, senior vp of Daher's aircraft business unit, acknowledges the positive feedback. "Roman Sobczyk is an example of how successful businessmen benefit from intensive usage of their TBM aircraft. We see it as a confirmation of the TBM's right combination of speed, comfort and efficiency."
