Air Elite shines spotlight on Latin America and Caribbean
Independent FBO members of the Air Elite Network were represented at the LABACE show in August, and had plenty of news to report.

World Fuel Services showcased its Air Elite Network Diamond Service locations at LABACE 2018 in Sao Paolo. Of the 79 FBOs that comprise the Air Elite Network, ten are in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Three of these have been in the news recently: Ecuacentair in Quito, Ecuador, was recently recognised with a letter of appreciation from the United States Embassy for its assistance and coordination of a visit by a US congressman. Ecuacentair will begin construction of a new 3,000 sqm hangar this month. This is expected to be complete by December and will be the largest hangar at the airport.

Jet Aviation's FBO facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico, was recently rebuilt with in-house US Customs and Immigration, while CuraƧao Air Terminal Services NV recently received IS-BAH Certification and is the first in its region to hold this accreditation.
