London Farnborough-based myairops is bringing a series of products designed to streamline processes for business aviation operators and ground handling organisations under a single brand. “Our goal is to bring everything together into one portal so, whether you are doing flight operations, charter sales brokering, aircraft management, continuing airworthiness, FBO management, ground handling or crew rostering, it's all in one place,” MD Tim Ford tells EBAN.
“We think that we are one of the only providers bringing all of that together in one place, as others are only targeting one facet of the aviation software solution.”
Previously known as Airops Software, the company has developed CAMO, FBO and aviation management products. The latest offering is cloud-based and available as a mobile application. “We see data as extremely important,” continues Ford. “We are still going to integrate with external platforms like Avinode, but we are able to be much more predictive, leading to efficient scheduling of aircraft maintenance. Another key part is ensuring that sales teams are working as effectively as possible. We will be able to direct charter sales staff to where they are more likely to win on a bid, and data is central to this too.”
Ford says that individuals in the private jet world expect to receive their invoice as soon as they step down from their aircraft, along with the ability to supply instant feedback on the experience. “We are removing all the paper that is traditionally part of the solution, and we have written companion iOS apps to capture this information,” Ford explains. “Our customers need to be able to write smart apps and bill quickly. They want to know the status of the aircraft that they are managing at any time.
