Robinson has added Garmin's G500H TXi avionics, which were announced during Heli-Expo, to its R66 options, along with a heavy-duty inlet barrier filter and a lightweight lithium ion battery. The TXi displays add touchscreen functionality to the G500H system, and consolidate PFD/MFD information onto a single screen. Robinson is also ramping up production, having produced 305 helicopters in 2017, including 77 R66s. The R66 fleet logged approximately 185,000 hours last year, bringing its total fleet hours to 735,000.
