Danish ATR training organisation Global Aviation Contractors is adding two further Citation CJ2+ to its fleet in the next three months after it was approved for an AOC in September 2017. Under its charter ops brand FlyGAC, the company is carrying out ad hoc VIP missions using an initial CJ2+, and these missions will be bolstered by the two new arrivals.

“FlyGAC is a training organisation formed to train ATR pilots,” says owner Morten Pedersen. “When organisations in Denmark were not able to train their own ATR pilots, two pilots decided to form their own AOC. We started off with a Citation CJ2+ and we have a couple more coming this summer. It is an aircraft to hold the AOC. Because we had the crew for it, it was the easiest one to get airborne.”
