ExecuJet has extended its MRO offering in the Middle East by gaining approval to perform line and base maintenance on Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft. The company's two MRO facilities in Dubai can now support Etihad Flight College and Emirates Flight Training Academy, the regional flight training academies that operate the type.

“This latest approval from the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority has greatly enhanced the services that we can provide for customers in the Middle East,” states maintenance director Nick Weber. “Our MRO facility at Dubai International airport can now perform 4,800 hour, 72 month checks on the aircraft, while at Al Maktoum International airport we have the capacity to carry out a wide variety of operations including defect rectification, engine and line-replaceable unit change and out of phase maintenance tasks.

“We are looking forward to further growth in our OEM offering once we are fully established at our new location at Al Maktoum towards the end of 2019.”
