Jota Aviation's management team recently attended the European Regional Airlines Association General Assembly in Athens to highlight availability for immediate ACMI and charter work on its RJ100. “We have been successful recruiting a full complement of RJ pilots and are looking to recruit more next quarter,” says CEO Andy Green, who is eyeing the addition of a fourth RJ. “This aircraft fits a niche for us. It is a proven type, popular with regional and legacy airlines and hard to match for wide cabin comfort.”

Head of commercial Mike Sessions adds: “In the 100-seat market the Avro RJ mirrors the equipment size offered by many of our regional airline customers, and ERA member airlines, serving primarily business rather than leisure routes. An important added bonus is that the RJ has STOL capabilities and can fly into London City airport.”
