Farnborough, UK-based Acropolis Aviation has renewed its Wyvern Wingman accreditation, following a fourth successful audit. The operator has held the status since 2011.

Ground operations manager Paul Travis says: “Retaining Wyvern status is hugely important for our business. The accreditation is recognised by our valued charter brokers on both sides of the Atlantic, from which our flagship Airbus ACJ319 G-NOAH flies back and forth.”

Wyvern's audit operations manager James Nicoletti adds: “Being able to consistently meet the Wyvern standard is testament to an organisation's commitment to safety. Congratulations to Acropolis Aviation on passing its fourth audit. Its continued commitment to safety keeps the company at the forefront of safety culture.”

To achieve Wingman status, operators must have an immaculate record with the appropriate aviation authorities for a minimum of five years, actively show commitment to leading safety practices and maintain a strong safety culture.

Operators must also provide up-to-date, accurate safety data to the Wyvern online database and successfully pass an onsite audit every two years where flight, maintenance and company business practices are evaluated.
