André Borschberg has joined the executive board of Marenco Swisshelicopter (MSH) as a non-executive director. Former Swiss Air Force jet and helicopter pilot and co-founder of the Solar Impulse project, the first ever round-the-world solar flight, Borschberg is looking forward to joining the MSH fold. He says: “In the global aviation landscape, MSH’s development and roll-out of a next generation helicopter made in Switzerland is a landmark project. As an aviation enthusiast and being Swiss, I am excited and proud to become part of the MSH venture.”

Chairman Philippe Harache adds: “We will benefit from André’s strategic guidance on our path to becoming the first fully-fledged Swiss global helicopter provider and manufacturer.”
