London Biggin Hill airport has extended its operating hours. It will now be operational from 0630 to 2300 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 2200 at weekends and bank holidays.

The airport has witnessed unprecedented growth in business aviation movements over the last year, mainly by Bombardier and Gulfstream types.

The extended operating hours will bring a number of benefits to customers in addition to low operating costs, no slot restrictions and the option to take a six-minute transfer to London via the London HeliShuttle service. “Our investment in introducing extended operating hours further enhances our reputation for affording our customers unrivalled flexibility and capacity,” says business development director Robert Walters.

“Our close proximity to the city centre combined with our new hours enables North American and Middle East clients in particular to enjoy a productive day trip to the city.”
