UK-based American businessman Attila Balogh is the first recipient of Daher's TBM 930 in the British Isles, courtesy of distributor Flying Smart. Balogh is the CEO of Partner in Pet Food (PPF) with factories in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Netherlands and he will be using the aircraft primarily for his own business travel.

He says: "When I made the decision, I had surveyed the market, looking at both jet and turboprop aircraft. With pressurisation, I could fly above the weather and benefit from the reliability of the turbine engine. The TBM 930 offers the best combination of speed, altitude, range and payload."

Balogh expects to fly 250 hours a year in the TBM and anticipates significant time savings.
