Glasgow, UK-headquartered Air Charter Scotland (ACS) is using the services of international SOS company and risk management provider MedAire. MedAire will provide ACS with travel risk management solutions for its crew and passengers, during flight and on the ground.

“MedAire provides unparalleled mission support for any operation,” says ACS ground ops director Derek Thomson. “The world has become an increasingly uncertain place, and the fact that we have just added two Legacy 650s to our worldwide AOC requires that we perform flights to destinations all over the world, often at very short notice and to remote locations. In order for us to continue offering our consistent level of service and duty of care, it is imperative that we have the right resource at our disposal to make appropriate decisions on safety and risk management so that we may protect our passengers, crew and aircraft.”

MedAire will provide the operator with up-to-date aviation security assistance solutions, supported by a 24/7 aviation security team with a global network of regional experts. This will include access to the Trip Ready app and online portal.
