ExecuJet achieves first German IS-BAH
ExecuJet Aviation Group has received International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation for its FBO in Berlin. It is the first company in Germany and one of only a handful in Europe to hold this certificate.

ExecuJet Aviation Group has received International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation for its FBO in Berlin. It is the first company in Germany and one of only a handful in Europe to hold this certificate. IS-BAH is a voluntary global code of best practices for business aviation ground handlers assessed through a safety management system, which recognises that FBOs need to plan and conduct operations in a standardised way.

General manager of ExecuJet Germany Sigrun Leidel explains: "Receiving IS-BAH accreditation is a great achievement for our FBO and ground handling team. It is becoming increasingly important for business aviation operators to seek verification of the level of proficiency of its business aircraft handling and IS-BAH provides an excellent means of meeting safety management system requirements. We fully support the programme on its mission to promote highly professional operational practices."

IS-BAH follows the structure of the IS-BAO programme used by operator clients and is a joint programme between the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transport Association (NATA). It incorporates the NATA Safety 1st ground audit programme and is assessed externally by an IBAC-accredited auditor.
